Tour, Talk and Tea
Enjoy touring PAI’s many exhibit rooms before relaxing with a cup of hot tea and a slice of pie.
Tour
See puppets from around the world and learn their fascinating histories in our three display rooms:
- International Puppet Room – featuring puppets from 6 of the 7 continents. (There are none from Antarctica because penguins never developed puppetry.)
- Hazelle Room – dedicated to Kansas City entrepreneur Hazelle Hedges Rollins and her Hazelle Puppet Co.
- Main Room Display – This display changes regularly – call for details.
Talk & Tea
After the tour, guests will be seated at linen covered tables where they will be served pie from Englewood’s own Home Sweet Home bakery. While enjoying their pie and hot tea, guests will be treated to an informative talk on the history of puppetry, including the types and uses of puppets. It is a great chance to see fun demonstrations and learn something new.
